Uitsluitingszoekwoorden toevoegen tijdens het optimaliseren van je campagnes is natuurlijk de normaalste zaak van de wereld. Maar het kan wel eens voorkomen dat je iets te enthousiast bezig bent geweest en dat er uitsluitingswoorden in een lijst terecht zijn gekomen die zoekwoorden in andere campagnes gaan blokkeren. Zonde natuurlijk, want nu komt er geen verkeer meer binnen op deze zoekwoorden. Daarom heeft Google een mooi script gemaakt die alle zoekwoorden en uitsluitingswoorden/lijsten naloopt om te controleren of er geen zoekwoorden geblokkeerd worden. Want geblokkeerde zoekwoorden leveren Google ook geen geld op.
Als je het script doorkijkt, kom je vanzelf 'var CONFIG = {' tegen. Hieronder staan een aantal zaken die je moet aanvullen, voordat je het script kan draaien.
SPREADSHEET_URL: Je moet eerst een kopie maken van de Google Spreadsheet, zodat de data daarin terecht kan komen. De URL die je kopieert, moet altijd '/edit' bevatten, maar wat daarachter komt mag je weglaten.
RECIPIENTS_EMAILS: Vul hier de emailadressen in waarop je meldingen wilt ontvangen over de gevonden conflicten.
CAMPAIGN_LABEL: Ook campagnes kan je labelen, zodat het script alleen controleert wat jij wilt.
Frequentie: Dagelijks zal vaak voldoende zijn. Maak jij veel wijzigingen in zoekwoorden/uitsluitingswoorden, draai het script dan elk uur.
